This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our app. 2. Information We Collect Account Information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your email address (or an Apple relay address if you choose to hide your email) and a unique user identifier. We do not receive your Apple ID password. Habit Data: Information you enter about your habits, including habit titles, descriptions, check-in records, difficulty ratings, and notes. AI Coach Conversations: If you use the premium AI Coach feature, your messages and the AI-generated responses are stored to maintain conversation history. Device Information: We collect your device’s push notification token (FCM token) if you enable daily reminders. Analytics Data: We use MixPanel to collect anonymised usage analytics such as app launches, feature usage, and general engagement patterns. No personally identifiable information is sent to MixPanel. 3. How We Use Your Information We use your information to: • Provide and maintain the OneHabit service • Sync your habit data across sessions via Firebase Firestore • Enable offline access through Firestore’s built-in cache • Send you daily reminder notifications (if enabled) • Power the AI Coach feature using OpenAI’s API • Improve and optimise the app experience 4. AI Coach & Third-Party Processing The AI Coach feature sends your habit context and conversation messages to OpenAI’s API for processing. We do not send your email address, Apple ID, or other personally identifiable information to OpenAI. OpenAI processes this data in accordance with their API data usage policy and does not use API inputs to train their models. 5. Data Storage & Security Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore) with encryption in transit and at rest. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication using Apple’s secure sign-in protocol. We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your personal data. 6. Data Sharing We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the following service providers who assist in operating our app: • Google Firebase — data storage and authentication • OpenAI — AI Coach processing (premium feature only) • MixPanel — anonymised analytics • Apple — authentication and in-app purchases 7. Data Retention & Deletion Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email address below. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will remove your data from our systems within 30 days. Signing out of the app does not delete your data — it remains stored so you can access it when you sign back in. 8.
